How do I pay for entries?
You can pay using Bitcoin over the Lightning Network or on-chain. Once you select your entries, you’ll receive a Bitcoin invoice. Lightning payments are near-instant.
Do I need a Bitcoin wallet to enter?
Yes — you’ll need a Bitcoin or Lightning wallet to complete your entry. If you’re new, we recommend Strike to get started with all you need. Any Bitcoin Lightning enabled wallet can be used for entry provide you have sufficient funds in place.
What does “provably fair” mean?
Every 21Stacker draw uses a verifiable SHA-256 cryptographic hash, allowing anyone to independently confirm the draw was fair, random, and not manipulated.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter as many times as you like, up to the maximum entry cap shown on that specific draw page.
What happens if I answer the skill question wrong?
If your answer is incorrect, your entry is not eligible to win. Incorrect entries cannot be refunded and are excluded from the final draw pool.
What happens if the draw doesn’t fill?
Every draw goes ahead at the published end date, regardless of how many entries are sold. There is no minimum fill requirement and no extensions unless clearly stated for that specific draw.
What happens if I win?
You’ll be notified immediately by email. To claim your prize, you must confirm eligibility (18+ and located in a permitted region), verify your ID, and provide a Bitcoin wallet address.
Why do you need to verify winners?
We verify winners to comply with regional laws and to ensure the winner is over 18, located in a permitted region, and the entry was legitimate. This protects all participants.
What if I don’t claim my prize?
Winners have 7 days to complete verification. If unclaimed, the prize will be forfeited as outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
How are prizes paid?
All prizes are paid in Bitcoin, directly to your Lightning or on-chain address.
Do you offer a free entry option (AMOE)?
Yes. For eligible jurisdictions, you can enter for free via postal mail using the Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE). Full instructions and postal addresses are provided in the Terms & Conditions.
Do AMOE entries have the same chance of winning?
Yes. Valid AMOE entries are treated exactly the same as paid entries.
Is Bitcoin volatile?
Bitcoin’s price moves against fiat currencies, but your entry cost and prize are measured in sats/BTC — not GBP/EUR/USD. Your sats remain sats.
What is a satoshi (sat)?
A satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin: 100,000,000 sats = 1 BTC. Entry prices and prizes are displayed in sats for clarity.
Who can enter?
Anyone aged 18+ living in a permitted region. Some regions have restrictions due to local laws. See our Terms & Conditions for the full list.
Why are some regions restricted?
Competition regulations differ globally. We comply with each region’s rules to operate legally and fairly.
How is my data protected?
All personal information — including ID documents — is encrypted and handled according to UK GDPR and international data protection laws. We never sell or share your data.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are issued only if a draw is cancelled or if a qualifying technical issue occurs. Refunds are made in Bitcoin to the same wallet used for the entry.
Do you donate to charity?
Yes — 2.1% of every draw’s revenue is donated in Bitcoin to OpenSats.
OpenSats is a non-profit that funds open-source Bitcoin development, Nostr projects, and privacy tools. They support the builders who keep Bitcoin decentralised, secure, and freely available for everyone.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Yes. Anyone can apply to promote 21Stacker and earn sats each time a completed draw they referred finishes. Full Affiliate Terms are available in the Affiliate Portal.
How are affiliate commissions paid?
Commissions are paid monthly in Bitcoin once draws close and winners are verified. There is no minimum payout threshold.
My Lightning payment didn’t show up — what do I do?
Lightning payments usually settle instantly. If your entry hasn’t appeared within 60 seconds, contact support with your invoice ID.
Can I cancel or change my entry?
No. Once paid, entries cannot be changed or cancelled. This ensures fairness and preserves the verifiable audit trail.
